SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Salinas City Council members have granted an appeal by Cannacruz after the pot shop was initially prevented from moving to a location along South Main Street.
The denial was initially issued by the Salinas Planning Commission before being deferred to council for discussion.
Representatives for Cannacruz (attorney Peter Brazil) argued they would address security by having a guard at the South Main Street facility, plus fencing all around the parking lot of the site.
