Land-use attorney returns

Jason Retterer, a land-use attorney, has rejoined Lombardo & Gilles Law Firm after a stint in Southern California advising public and private entities on legal issues. Retterer has worked on such issues as compliance with environmental laws, including the California Environmental Quality Act, water quality laws and federal and state hazardous waste laws; development challenges presented by general plan and zoning matters; creating subdivisions in accordance with the Subdivision Map Act; land-use planning, including annexations; and compliance with the Brown Act, the Political Reform Act and the Public Records Act.

Retterer served as a senior associate at Woodruff, Spradlin & Smart in Costa Messa. He received his juris doctorate from the California Western School of Law and a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Southern California.
