Anais Mora is JRG Attorney at Law’s lead labor and employment attorney. Anais represents a wide array of employers and employees in labor and employment related litigation in state, federal, and administrative venues. Anais provides practical advice on day-to-day employment matters, including internal complaints, employee termination, employment agreements, and wage and hour matters as well as representation on investigations by administrative agencies such as DFEH, DLSE, and OSHA.
Anais’s practice is focused on employment counseling and litigation, with a particular emphasis on the defense of wage and hour claims, including class actions and the PAGA, and claims of sexual harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination. As these cases often pose significant risks to clients, Anais has been successful through various litigation strategies in defusing and reducing that exposure that such disputes may present.
Anais is a lifelong resident of the Central Coast region with roots in both San Benito and Monterey Counties. As an undergraduate at San Diego State University, Anais majored in Criminal Justice. After college, Anais was the program manager of a non-profit organization in San Diego that enforced court ordered supervised visitation and exchanges between non-custodial parents and their children. Thereafter, she returned to the Central Coast where she worked for a local law firm as she attended Monterey College of Law and obtained her Juris Doctor Degree. She is currently admitted to the California Bar.
