Paul Rovella

Managing Partner

Since joining JRG Attorneys at Law, Managing Partner Paul Rovella has developed a diverse legal practice. Paul has gained significant experience in both transactional and litigation work related to real estate disputes, including negotiating leases and purchase and sale agreements, preparing secured and unsecured loan and refinancing transactional documents, and handling unlawful detainers, partitions, quiet title actions, boundary line disputes, breach of contract and Heggstad petitions. Paul’s practice also includes representing clients in Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act disputes, water rights and groundwater quality protection matters, and foodborne illness matters. Paul currently serves as special City Attorney for the City of Hollister and General Counsel for the Pacheco Pass Water District

Paul is licensed to practice in the State of California and has been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts in the Eastern, Central, and Northern Districts of California. Paul is a member of the San Benito and Monterey County Bar Associations. He has been named to the 2014 and 2015 Northern California Rising Stars lists. Paul was also voted Man of the Year by the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce in 2017 and “Best Attorney” in San Benito County in 2014 and 2019 in the Hollister Free Lance Best Of.

In addition to his legal practice, Paul serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the 33rd Agricultural District, San Benito County Fair, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Corporation of San Benito County, and as a member of the Technical Advisory Committee advising the San Benito County Water District on matters related to the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.
