Peter is a partner of JRG Attorneys at Law where he advises and represents both private and public clients. Peter’s practice primarily focuses on real estate law, landlord-tenant, land use, business, contracts and Cannabis/hemp.

Peter counsels his real estate clients on a wide range of real property matters, including leasing, purchase and sales, title issues, reassessment issues (and avoidance), easements and land use issues. He counsels clients regarding general landlord-tenant matters and drafting of leases/rental agreements and represents landlords in unlawful detainer actions. He also advises and counsels Cannabis clients regarding many aspects of compliance, including but not limited to licensing, land use, related business transactions and compliance.

Peter represents both large and small businesses on a wide range of general business law matters, including entity formations, alterations and dissolutions as well as business-related contracts, leases and entitlements.

Peter is well known throughout the Salinas Valley and Monterey County for his ability to handle and resolve client matters in a thoughtful and creative manner that results in his clients’ getting their desired outcome.

Peter is a Salinas native and fourth-generation Monterey County resident, with extensive connections and roots in the local community, having grown up in Salinas, where he attended Salinas schools and graduated from Salinas High School. Peter is very active in the community in various political, charitable and local social associations, including his nine years as a Board Member and Past President of the Monterey County Bar Association.

In his spare time, Peter’s interests include guitar, hiking, swimming, computers, cooking, physics, and astronomy.
