Silvia joined JRG in 2021 as the receptionist in JRG’s main office in Salinas and provides support to the firm’s clients. Prior to joining JRG, Silvia worked in county government and the agricultural industry, which prepared her for providing excellent customer service to JRG’s diverse clientele. Silvia serves as JRG’s first point of contact, profoundly influencing the firms’ image through professional, empathetic, and efficient service. A Salinas native, Silvia fosters a sense of community and loyalty to all clients seeking legal assistance.

Silvia’s passion for community participation is demonstrated by her 25 years of volunteer work to support the American Cancer Society local Relay for Life Salinas Valley annual event, activities, and fundraising. Silvia first began her volunteer work with the local American Cancer Society in 1999 when her father was in remission from his prostate cancer. Throughout her father’s treatment, Silvia remained committed and continued to give hours of her personal time to Relay for Life. She has been instrumental in engaging local businesses to donate their services or goods to the local fundraising efforts.

With her support, JRG Attorneys at Law’s support of and participation with Relay for Life has grown over the years. We attribute Silvia’s leadership with the firm’s 2025 Team Recognition Award and the 2025 BEST Themed Tent Award. Silvia also received a 2025 Leadership Recognition Award. As a cancer survivor herself, Silvia has been honored as the Torchbearer in 2024 and officially “Rang the Bell” that same year to celebrate the end of her chemotherapy and radiation treatment. She served as the 2025 Survivor Lead, in charge of coordinating all survivor activities, donations, gifts, and all details for activities that honor local cancer survivors during the 2025 Relay for Life.
